Pleased to inform that D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V.Dental College, Bangalore has been recognized as a center for conducting the MFDS Part A & Part B Exam by Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
MFDS Part A
Eligibility for MFDS Part A examination:
Candidates are required to provide evidence of completion of a minimum of 12 months satisfactory experience in any field of dentistry obtained after gaining their primary dental qualification that is B.D.S. from a Dental institution recognized by DCI/ or respective Councils
Exam Date: Monday 4th September 2006
Center: D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V.Dental College, 24th Main, 1st Phase, J.P.Nagar, Bangalore.
Exam Fees: 330 UK pounds. To be paid directly to Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh
Mode of Payment: Electronic payment

MFDS Part B:
Eligibility for MFDS Part B examination:
(a) Candidates must have passed MFDS Part A.
(b) Candidates must provide evidence of at least 20 months satisfactory experience, of which 8 months must have been spent in clinical posts in hospital, community practice and dental public health, which have been approved for training by the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of the UK and Ireland.

Exam Fees: 230 UK pounds. To be paid directly to Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh

Training Course For MFDS Part A
Training course will be conducted by experienced faculty from UK & India from Monday 28th August 2006 to Saturday 2nd September 2006.
Course fees is Rs 10,000 to be paid by Demand Draft favoring Principal, D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V.Dental College, Bangalore payable at Bangalore.
Optional: Shared accommodation will be provided at D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V.Dental College Girls & Boys Hostel situated in the campus at the rate of Rs 100/- per day. Food Extra.

8 Senior House Officer (SHO) posts have been recognized by the Royal
College of Surgeons Edinburgh to provide training for candidates to appear
for the MFDS Part B examination.

The details of the senior house officer training program is as follows:
1. Number of posts: 8
2. Duration: 12 months
3. Fees: Rs 50,000 by Demand Draft drawn in favor of Principal D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V.Dental
College, payable at Bangalore.
4. Date of commencement of the training program: 1 st June 2006
5. Last Date for Registration: 15th May 2006

Note: tose desirous of hostel accommodation will need to pay Rs. 20,000.
This is subject to availability of the room & rooms are available on twin
sharing basis.
