Academic highlights of the department

1. The department is headed by Dr Asha R Iyengar who has more than 20 years of experience in the academic arena. Along with being a recognised PhD guide under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, she is an examiner for both PG and UG from many years.
2. The department is staffed with teaching faculty who have many international and national publications as well as the department actively participates in various international conferences by presenting posters and presentations.
3. Teaching Faculty trained with nuances of advanced imaging at Showa University, Tokyo, Japan.
4. Collaboration with various tertiary referral centres in Bangalore like HCG, NIMHANS, for gaining a first hand knowledge by the Post Graduate Students.
